Spotify will be soon on Facebook?

Spotify is the streaming music provider Facebook will be adding to its popular social media site. What you ask, isn't it already part of Facebook Connect as part of the desktop interface? The answer is yes but the proposed move will give Facebook something they have wanted since Mark Zuckerberg's days as a student at Harvard.
A couple of months ago it was a music partnership with Warner Bros, now Facebook has reached out to Spotify to allow live streaming from it popular social media portal.

The Benefit
The news was first reported yesterday by Forbes. Facebook and Spotify are in the last testing phase with completion due within two weeks. Once it goes "live" Facebook users will see a Spotify icon on their page which will install the program and allow delivery of millions of songs. Perhaps the biggest feature is users will be able to listen to music simultaneously with their friends, and the sharing feature is one of the game changers which makes Facebook special.

U.S. Customers
The new service can solely be on the market for Facebook users in countries where Spotify is on the market which excludes the US.

Currently it's negotiating with music labels to bring its streaming service to the U.S. Assuming negotiations are successful, Facebook can then be ready to supply the service to its giant U.S. market. Hopefully, it will be sooner than later because there are millions of Facebook users in the U.S.

As mentioned in the Forbes article, "Facebook's ability to stream music will fulfill a long-held dream of founder Mark Zuckerberg."

Another note why this announcement is positive and a likely success is both companies share some of the same investors. Social media companies rely on this type of teamwork as they expand their presence while attempting to satisfy a very fickle international market . Customers rely on technology companies to bring the future to them, today! Several years ago most had no reason to pay attention to the word social media. Today, companies have made the word part of their everyday vernacular by launching new products daily.

Judgmental

I'm so tired of explaining myself to people whom I don't even owe an explanation to. And to those who have reconstructed my doing as selfish,

when in fact I was SELFLESS.. :|
